24hr Support – A rapid response
Where possible, we will endeavour to keep the young person within the family home. Support staff can be placed within the home in order to help achieve this.
However, we recognise this is not always feasible. Inspire are able to offer emergency 24-hour wrap around care to young people who are not able to return home or to their placement. This support can be put in for one night, or until an alternative placement is identified.
Our team are experienced in supporting young people in these challenging situations. Once initial safeguarding needs have been addressed, staff work alongside the young person in supporting life skills, resilience and in preparing them for the next step.
We understand that every situation is different and therefore remain flexible in meeting the needs of the individual.
As part of our 24-hour rapid response package we are able to provide staff in a hospital setting to supervise and support parents during a care order or an emergency protection order.
Inspire can transport a child or young person to their new placement whether that is in or out of the county.
We have the required and necessary insurances in place, as well as ensuring vehicle checks are regularly carried out.
Our team are able to quickly build relationships, putting the young person at ease in what can be a very traumatic and emotional situation.
Family Support Workers
An experienced team brought together from across Local Authorities with a wealth of knowledge of Child Protection, Child in Need and Early Intervention Plans.
Inspire’s aim is to enable parents and carers to understand the causes of behaviours that challenge and provide solutions to support positive and sustainable change, using a range of tools.
Our work is flexible and can take place in the family home or within the community, working alongside parents and carers in isolation or with the whole family, to ensure families feel comfortable and confident to put into practice strategies successfully, to provide a safer family unit.
Following each session, a detailed and comprehensive report is completed including observations, what has been achieved and ongoing goals/expectations.
Inspire Family Support Workers are able to work alongside parents and carers, who require positive parenting strategies to help manage challenging situations and areas of identified concern.
Family Time – Supervised Contact
Providing experienced workers to observe family time flexibly, by accommodating sessions at a time and space that meets the needs of the families.
Inspire’s family time provides support for children and young people as directed by Court Orders. We provide experienced workers to observe and facilitate family time in the community and we are flexible as to when sessions take place, putting children and young people at the centre of the support.

Absolutely fantastic, I would recommend highly. Staff are understanding and very good in regard to what they do. My child has made so much progress and gained so much confidence and trust, that without Inspire it wouldn’t have been achieved. Amazing just amazing! Thank you so much for all you do!
Thank you for taking me to the rides, woodlands and the beach, all places I wouldn’t normally get to go, and horse riding. Also, for welcoming me to Inspire. Thank you for everything! I think of all the fun times.
I just wanted to write to you both to thank you for all your work. You went above and beyond to help my young person, which in turn helped me, especially at a time when their risks were so high. As a service you are flexible, dedicated and provide experienced well trained staff. Thank you.
